The High Legh Junior Academy launched in 2024 is going from strength to strength and has been created to entertain, encourage and improve the clubs junior golfers.

Under the stewardship of Junior Organser Tom Lormor and Golf Operations Manager Dominic Fernandez the 100 plus junior members now have a full competition schedule for 2025, multiple events and a community of fellow golfers to enjoy the game of golf with. We are working on putting together three junior section squads over the next twelve months to play team golf against other clubs; These squads are Junior Sixes, Junior Nines and The Elite squad for the 10 lowest handicap junior golfers in the club.

Our philosphy is not just to focus on playing ability but to help educate a nd develop the clubs future adult members. We believe that golf is a game of skill and integrity and here at the High Legh Junior Academy we strive to combine friendship and challenge.

The competiton schedule takes place across both The Championship and Academy courses to give all juniors of all abilities the opportunity to play competitive golf.

2025 Schedule

All competition booking will follow the same process as adult competitions through the Intelligent Golf platform.

Next Event

Our next event is The Junior Club Championship on Sunday 29th June. This is our first official junior board competition and the winner will be invited to represent High Legh at The Warwickshire in The Club Company Champion of Champions event. which Jonah Ashworth won last year. 

Open Competitions

The Club at High Legh Junior Open is set to take place this summer on Thursday 31st July and entry is only £10 to High Legh junior members. Show fellow juniors in the county how good you all are. Invite your friends and enter via Intelligent Golf and using the competition fund.
